1984. It was the year Doug Flutie of Boston College threw a “Hail Mary” pass to defeat football powerhouse University of Miami. Tina Turner asked, “What’s Love Got to do With It?” Miami Vice premiered and men soon wore pastels and sockless loafers in their best imitations of Crockett and Tubbs. Apple unveiled the revolutionary Macintosh, complete with 125K RAM, 9-inch screen and $2,500 price tag. In Jacksonville, Florida, Robin Shepherd and Tom Schifanella established the Robin Shepherd Studio, an agency where creative design could flourish in a fun and free-flowing environment.
A lot has happened at Shepherd since 1984. We outgrew two buildings, opened an office in Atlanta, changed our name a few times, helped thousands of clients achieve success and expanded our team and capabilities.
